Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Veris AI is a one-person business run by Scott O'Brien in Newport Beach, California. This policy covers veris-ai.com. It is written plainly because you should be able to read it in about two minutes and know exactly where you stand.

What I collect

Only what you type into the discovery call form:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you choose to give one (it is optional)
  • Whatever you write in the message field about your business

The form also records the date you submitted it and which form it came from, so I know how to respond. Nothing else is collected.

What I do not collect

  • No tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
  • No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no visitor profiling on this site.
  • No purchased or scraped data. I do not buy contact lists or append data about you from other sources.

Why I collect it

To reply to your inquiry and, if it makes sense, to schedule and hold a discovery call. That is the entire purpose. I do not add you to a marketing list from this form, and I do not send newsletters to people who only asked a question.

Who else sees it

I do not sell, rent, or share your information. There is no third party I hand your details to for their own use.

The only companies that touch this data are the ones running the plumbing:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions in its database service. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as IP addresses in order to serve pages and block abuse.
  • Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used on this site, which means your browser requests those font files from Google and Google receives the request as part of that.
  • My email and calendar provider handles the messages I send you when I reply.

If that changes, this page changes with it. I may also disclose information where the law requires it, which has not happened and which I would resist to the extent I am able.

How long I keep it

I keep discovery call inquiries for as long as there is a plausible working relationship, and I clear out stale ones periodically. If you ask me to delete your information I will do it and confirm when it is done.

Your choices

Email support@veris-ai.com and I will:

  • Tell you exactly what I hold about you
  • Correct anything wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop contacting you

You do not need to cite a regulation or use a specific form of words. Just ask. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and I extend the same treatment to everyone regardless of where they live. I will never charge you or treat you differently for exercising them.

Text messages

If you give me your phone number, see the SMS Terms for exactly what I will and will not send you.

Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored in access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfect and I will not claim otherwise, so please do not send passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information through a website form. If you need to share something sensitive for a project, we will set up an appropriate way to do it.

Children

This is a business to business site and is not directed at anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes. Material changes to how I handle information already collected will be communicated to affected people directly.
